Today, TAL is an easily accessible, modern, and welcoming source for helping athletes bring out their A-game mentally (and ultimately ramp it up physically).
Reaching out can be out of our comfort zone and even scary sometimes. TAL makes the process of prioritizing mental game easier.
Our Mission
The approach falls between two simple mindsets: "Life is crazy busy" and "Mental game matters too."
For years, we struggled with a solution for handling the rapid-growing social media, the rapid-growing mental health crisis of young people, and the slow-paced motion for athletes to seek support.
By combining busy schedules, athletic lifestyle, and improvement of mental fitness—
TAL was born.

Our other main matter of biz:

Athletes are competitive. Whether it’s within yourself or with others, you wanna show you mean business. Physical prep is one piece of the puzzle, but mental prep is what’s gonna get you to the top.

It’s time to be realistic. When you roll up before a game, many get their ankle taped by the AT. You do this so you’re ready to play, and so you don’t hurt your ankle. Jump into that routine and prep your mindset before you play… so you don’t hurt your performance too.
Here’s my unsupported twist. Social media has its pros and cons… we know it. Still, is it really going anywhere? If anything, we’re getting more of it. Instead of trying to rid a problem that’s not going anywhere, handle it with a little bit of spice (insert the Italian-talking hand up emoji) and use your phone to help you.
Plus, you’re an athlete, you’re busy. You’re likely traveling often too. What else are you going to do on your ride other than scroll and read to pass time…

It takes a village. The athlete themself is never the only one involved. Teammates, coaches, parents… they’re part of the team too! If you wanna be the best, you need the best support system too.

Reality
Life’s nuts. Phones keep us in touch. Up to par. Media breaks are good but breaks don’t fix. Our master plan—keep that phone out.

Trust is built. It seems scary to tell someone you never met about what’s happening, but what I can tell you is this:
I've had my share of scares, injuries, and performance issues as an athlete... not fun, not enjoyable... so trust me, I get it.
